![]() A MUST-HAVE for any serious visitor to the Amsterdam scene, it is the first book ever to profile all 168 coffeeshops in the city, with vivid full-color pictures, detailed descriptions, amenities, and locals/regulars recommendations for the "best of" shops in a variety of categories. This shop is featured in our 368 page Hardcover book CONNOISSEUR GUIDE: AMSTERDAM COFFEESHOPS. Pricing here tends to be reasonable for the city center, though expect to see a few “premium cost” options. In addition, the shop also carries space cakes and pre-rolled joints. These are usually pressed hashes from the usual exporting countries. The hash menu is about half the size, though still carries a decent variety. There are more than a dozen choices here, ranging from the hot items of the day such as the Kush strains, to Amsterdam’s most traditional varieties. It provides the occupants plenty of fresh air, and an incredible vantage point to watch the crowds below.īetty Boop Coffeeshop’s cannabis menu is fairly large, at least on the weed side. After doing so, this table will sit right in front of a balcony-style railing. On a warm day, the staff will open these windows up. It sits just in front of the second floor’s large ceiling-to-floor windows. There is one table in particular that is regarded as “prime seating”, though. Many of the chairs are leather, and quite plush. In here, you will find a long comfortable bench along one wall, and several tables spread about. While comfortable, we feel it would be a mistake not to venture upstairs. These provide you options for both quick and extended visits. The first floor has a few tables, along with a thin wall counter if you want to roll a quick one for your walk. The newly revamped décor is much subtler in this regard, instead boasting a more updated contemporary appearance. Recent renovations have erased much of the old Betty Boop branding in here, which used to be quite prominent here. On the inside, you’ll find the shop spread out over two levels. Management also places a couple sets of outdoor chairs and tables here, which are perfect for lounging on a sunny afternoon. On the outside, Betty Boop Coffeeshop has a modern façade, with three large sections of ceiling-to-floor glass. In the interim, this shop, Betty Boop Too (as it was called), was renamed to simply Betty Boop. Sadly, the original Betty Boop was forced to move to a new location in 2018. This capsule combines the authentic essence of each brand with bold, light-hearted, ready-to-wear styles. The original was once adjacent to the red light district, and famously known as one of the places that Quentin Tarantino wrote Pulp Fiction. GUESS latest Originals collection features Betty Boop. This location is the second Betty Boop coffeeshop. ![]() ![]() Betty Boop Coffeeshop is located just behind Amsterdam’s famous Flowermarkt (flower market), close to where the Singel canal meets up with the Amstel.
